Dr Eithne Sexton is a Cameron Scholars lecturer in the RCSI School of Population Health. She graduated with a PhD in Health Services Research from RCSI in 2015, as part of the HRB PhD Scholars Programme in Health Services Research (now known as SPHeRE). She leads the SIMI-Stroke project, funded under the HRB ARPP scheme. The study aim is to evaluate alterative policy options for stroke prevention and management in Ireland, using population-based epidemiological and economic modelling. Other research interests include evidence synthesis, health outcome measurement, psychometrics and population ageing.
