Naomi Holman
Research Fellow
Dr Naomi Holman leads the epidemiology stream of work within Converge. This includes using routine health data and specific research cohort studies to identify the incidence and prevalence of diabetes in Ireland and investigate outcomes for people with diabetes and associated morbidities.
Her PhD studies focused on the use of routinely collated data to measure outcomes in people with diabetes. This built on work as Head of Health Intelligence for Diabetes at Public Health England analysing and presenting data to support the diabetes community in England.
Dr Holman is also a Research Fellow in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Imperial College London where she leads a programme of research using the National Diabetes Audit for England and Wales to explore questions relevant to health policy.
