Zeinab El-Dirani

Zeinab El-Dirani has more than six years’ experience working for non-profit organisations and engaging in research at the American University of Beirut, the Lebanese National Mental Health Program, and Deakin University. She holds a Master’s in Public Health from the American University of Beirut with a concentration in health promotion and community health. Her specialisation lies in qualitative research methodologies, and she is particularly interested in the role of religion and culture as social determinants of health. Her work contributes to the understanding of people’s mental health struggles and the evidence-based measures that can improve psychological well-being, alleviate pain and decrease suffering.
